Why 6 Inches is the New Standard for High-Performance Training

When we set out to design the LFA 6-Inch Technical Gym Short, we didn't just want to make another pair of workout trunks. We wanted to solve the "Distraction Gap"—that moment mid-set where you have to adjust your gear instead of focusing on your form.

There is a constant debate in the fitness community: the 5-inch "split" vs. the 7-inch "classic."

• 5-inch is great for mobility but often feels exposed during heavy horizontal movements.

• 7-inch provides coverage but often catches on the knee during deep squats.

The 6-inch cut is our answer. It’s the "Goldilocks" length. It clears the knee for zero-drag movement while providing enough coverage to transition from the gym to the street without feeling like you’re in a track-and-field uniform from the 70s.
